[ January/February Newsletter ]

Greetings Brethren, We believe that our savior Yahshua the Messiah is calling for a sincere people in theses last days that love their neighbor. They love their neighbor enough to put their own lives on the line just as Yahshua did for each one of us. We hope this letter finds you in the best of health and we pray that Yahshua the Messiah is active and working in all your lives. We rejoice in His love every day and pray that father Yahweh will continue to bless this work.

We thank all of you who prayed for our safe journey to Kenya. Almighty Yahweh has saw fit to bring us back safely and He blessed our whole journey despite many problems with the vehicle and our flight delay. We owe all this to the power of prayer brethren because Satan wanted us to fail in our mission of teaching the brethren and inspiring them with the good news of the Kingdom of Yahweh. He tried many times to put us off track and to delay us in making our appointed rounds that were scheduled. The brethren rejoiced everywhere we went thanking and praising Yahweh for sending us to them. The love that was manifested through the Holy Spirit was evident each place we stopped. The power of prayer we feel was the deciding factor in our success because every where we went we heard of the detractors who were speaking evil of our ministry and it's inability to teach and reach Yahweh?s people there in Kenya. We met with three other congregations who wanted to be taught by YPTC they begged us to visit their congregations in other regions of Kenya but there was no time on the schedule to accommodate them. We did visit with the two congregations that where headquartered in the Limuru area where we also have a congregation. We believe that Almighty Yahweh is moving people by His Holy Spirit right now to make their calling an election sure because the times are evil. The power of prayer is going to be essential to this process because the prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:15-17 and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and Yahweh will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. 17 Eliyah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.

The two witnesses of Rev. 11:6 have the same power as EliYah did that they have the power to shut the heaven that it rain not for the 31/2 years of their prophecy. This is not a coincidence brethren it is the power of Yahweh that is given them to control the elements for Almighty Yahweh's glory. The power of prayer that has been given to us is for Almighty Yahweh's glory because He hears the prayers of the righteous and not the wicked. If you are not living the life and are not a repentant child of His He will not listen to your prayers. Prov. 15:29 Yahweh is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous. Pray for the power of prayer in your life that you can make a difference to the only living Elohim Yahweh through repentance. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you in your life of obedience to the covenant. How do we draw near to Yahweh? We draw near be keeping everything that proceeds out of His mouth by learning to love one another, by tithing, by keeping all the feast days not just the weekly Sabbath. The power of prayer is a weapon of the righteous because they have the ear of Him who rules the heavens not to destroy men?s lives but to lift them up brethren. Look at your motives when you accuse your brother of anything we must lift each other up in prayer not tear one another down. Think of how powerful you will be if you only show perfect love one to another. We already have the victory over Satan by the blood of the lamb brethren so let us continue in prayer so that even our enemies will be at peace with us and turn from their evil ways because of the power of prayer that we use to pray for them. In 2 Cor. 1:10-11 Paul wrote: Who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, 11 you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many. Brethren our hope like Paul is set on Yahweh and He will deliver us as He did His servants of old if we truly believe. Do you believe that Almighty Yahweh is going to answer your prayers? We who exercise the power of prayer in our lives have the evidence of His Holy Spirit working in our lives in Kenya and wherever the Spirit leads us.

Robert Davis and Willie Mckelvey’s missionary trip to Kenya.

The following is a brief account of the three weeks stay/travel of our dear brothers to Kenya.

It was on 10 th January 2012 at the evening that the brethren here in Kenya thronged at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport to await for our visitors. The plane was scheduled to arrive at 7.05pm from Zurich. A considerable time span passed by past the schedule and anxiety gripped our hearts. It was only after enquiries were made at the respective office, the Swiss air that we held our peace on learning that there was a delay and we had to wait for another seven hours or so for our visitors. We were informed that they had been connected to another plane from Istanbul and were due to arrive at 2.20am.After a long chilly night, at about 3.15am our beloved brothers finally arrived much to our relief. Warm and passionate greetings and hugging welcomed them to Kenya. We boarded the ministry's van and headed towards a hotel at Limuru, which is situated at the outskirts of the capital city, Nairobi. This place would be the base of our visitor's stay/travel and also suitable for the brethren here as they could access our visitors quite easily.

After having rested for some hours we went to a shopping mall (Nakumatt) to pick some items of their choice. Next day on the morning we embarked on our first leg of the missionary trip and headed towards Kisii, which seemed to be the furthest point as per the schedule. It is situated about 380miles from Nairobi and in the western part of Kenya. In this region we have two congregations at different locations, one at deacon Rafael's place and the other at deacon Jacob's. However the journey was not that smooth, for as we were about halfway the van broke down and the damage seemed very serious according to the mechanic. The propeller Yoke and the tail had developed some problems, which also affected the gear system. By now it was evening and since the van could not be fixed immediately we opted to spend the night at this small town called Sotik. The next day being Friday the preparation day and since by now we were a day late according to the schedule, another van had to be hired to take the brethren to our destination on time. The ministry's van remained at the town waiting for fixing. Before the Sabbath we had arrived at deacon Rafael?s place where many people from the area came to meet us. During the Sabbath service the meeting hall was full to capacity with an attendance of about seventy brethren. On Sunday we went to the other congregation in this region called Getumo or deacon Jacob's place. There we held a fellowship with about twenty-five brethren. The next day Monday we embarked on the journey back to the base at Limuru where we made a stopover at sister Betty's home in Bomet town. By the evening we had arrived at Limuru and the next day was Tuesday and scheduled for rest, but instead we held a fellowship with a certain messianic group in the neighborhood led by a pastor Mwema.

During most of the fellowships we held in different places, the message that featured most was based on the last great day of Yahweh, the first fruits of Yahweh who will be priests and kings in the millennium and reign with Yahshua. How prepared are we for the soon coming kingdom? It was quite an inspiration. The following day we embarked on the long journey ever to the vast Bomet region. We went past Bomet town, Kapkatet and to another new center called Kaborok where we were hosted by a brother Henry Kilachi. A considerable number of people waited for us and expected us to have a Kesha (an overnight fellowship). However this could not be possible since by then most of us were very tired due to the long drive and managed only to have a brief session of introduction hoping to share more the next morning after rest. The people here had something remarkable, unlike in other areas where we would foot the bills, their hospitality was exceptional. According to culture, if someone slaughters an animal for you then you must know that you are a highly esteemed guest. We stayed at this place until lunch time and left for another place called Saoset where we spent a night and a day holding fellowships and before sunset on Friday we had already arrived at our next destination. This is also a new center, which is past Sogoo and is in the interior. It's called Naisondori and this is where the newly wed deacon Julius hails. The Sabbath service was held here and in the afternoon we proceeded to a nearby stream for baptism and where seven brethren were immersed into the name of Yahshua the messiah. These were two brothers and five sisters. On the following day Sunday a meeting of elders/deacons/region representatives was held in the morning session and afterwards we headed back to Limuru and arrived at the evening. Monday was a day of rest and refreshment as we waited for the third and last leg of our travel. On Tuesday another messianic group known as the gathering of Yahweh where fellowship was held at their meeting hall invited us. About twenty people were present. Pastor Kiarie Ngugi leads the group. All these new groups were very inspired and always showed a strong desire of working or rather joining the YPTC as we prepare the people for the soon forth coming kingdom of Yahweh. Our last long journey was Njoro which is past Nakuru, the fourth largest city in Kenya. We arrived here at Wednesday evening and rest overnight and held a wonderful fellowship next day most of the morning. Another session of questions and answers followed later. Most of those who accompanied us here were the youths of the YPTC.

On Friday afternoon we headed back to Limuru hoping to arrive before sunset and make some preparations for the Sabbath. This would be the last Sabbath with our visitors here and we expected a big attendance. There were brethren attending the Sabbath service mainly from messianic groups we had visited earlier. About a hundred twenty people attended the service. The number was more than the meeting hall could hold and therefore some people stayed on the outside. Oh what a great service what a great encouragement and inspiration indeed to all the brethren. At the end the service ordinations were held. Four deacons including brother Willie who was one of the visitors were elevated into the positions of elders and another brother by the name Wambugu was also ordained as a deacon. This step was taken due to theimmense growth the ministry has been realizing of late and more workers are needed in the vineyard of Yahweh. The next day being Sunday and the last day with our visitors, we held a farewell banquet at elder Edwards place and the same time a crucial leaders meeting took place. There was a memorable time with the families of the leaders also. After all these things came the evening and time of the departure of our brothers whom we escorted to the airport and left. Now apart from a few hitches here and there especially with our old van which would break down so often and call for the replacements of certain parts, nevertheless it was a great visit and hopefully very fruitful.

We thank almighty Yahweh for His grace and love towards us throughout the stay/travel of our brothers. Secondly we also thank the two brothers for their great sacrifice. They had left their families, friends and their business to come and share with us the manifold blessings of Yahweh and also impart some spiritual gifts to us. Indeed they stooped so low to live, eat, interact and even share with us. Last but not the least is our acknowledgement of the YPTC fraternity in the USA for their financial, moral and spiritual support, which has contributed to all this success.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:58 reads: Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of Yahweh, for as much ye know that your labor is not in vain in the messiah. HEBREWS 10:34 reads For you had compassion of me in my bonds. And took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Canst not a way therefore your confidence which hath great recompense of reward. For you have need of patience that after you have done the will of Yahweh you might receive the promise.

Yahweh blesses you and keeps you, make His face shine upon you, be gracious to you and give you shalom. Mumira.

Iran Threatens to Attack Israel with Missiles and the U.S. with Suicide Bombers, but White House Pressuring Israel to Do Nothing

eyes on israel
By Joel C. Rosenberg

President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are scheduled to meet at the White House for talks on March 5. Netanyahu is also expected to address the annual AIPAC policy conference and hold other meetings with senior Congressional officials. The big question for Obama appears to be: When is Israel planning to hit Iran, and is there any way the White House can stop Netanyahu from launching preemptive air strikes? That is precisely the wrong question, however. The American President should be asking: How can the U.S. help Israel stop Iran without a full scale war, and if such a war is needed, how can we work together to win quickly and decisively and make the world safer?

Now comes a new challenge: senior Iranian officials are threatening to launch preemptive missile strikes against Israel and a wave of suicide bombing attacks in the U.S. Yet the Obama administration continues to act as though Israel is the real problem, not Iran.

"A senior Iranian military commander signaled the Islamic Republic might launch a pre-emptive strike against its 'enemies' if the nation's leaders felt an attack on Iran was imminent, providing another example of ever-escalating tensions between Tehran and the West over its nuclear program," reports the Associated Press.

"In a clear shot across the bow, the deputy head of Iran's armed forces, Mohammad Hejazi, told state media on Tuesday: "Our strategy now is that if we feel our enemies want to endanger Iran's national interests, and want to decide to do that, we will act without waiting for their actions," according to the Reuters news agency.

American officials have pressed Israel in recent days to delay any strike on Iran, fearing the resulting instability in the region could outweigh an attempt to disable Iran's nuclear facilities.

The official news agency IRNA said the four-day air defense war games, dubbed "Sarallah" or "God's Revenge," were taking place in the south of the country and involve anti-aircraft batteries, radar, and warplanes. The drill will be held over 73,000 square miles near the port of Bushehr, the site of Iran?s lone nuclear power plant. Iran has held multiple air, land, and sea maneuvers in recent months as the tensions increase."

Looking Ahead to the Next New Moon: The new moon for the 1st scriptural month should be visible the evening of Friday March 23, 2011.

In Genesis 1:14-18 we see the significance of the heavenly bodies. "Then Elohim said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth;' and it was so. Then Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. Elohim set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good." (NKJV)

Be sure to look for this new moon and report your findings to us by calling 717-383-6975.

We are commanded to pray for the sick among us in James 5:13-15 13“Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahweh: 15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and Yahweh shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. Let us pray for these people who have a petition before Almighty Yahweh.
